{Style} For the Love of Shoes... and Mint.

As temperatures drop, I figure why not brighten things up with some good old fashioned pastels? They're cheerful, bright and super feminine to boot... Seriously now, just try and feel low when you're wearing pastels — I dare you!

Want in on a secret? I think I'm well on my way to shoe fetish-ville here, guys... Now I know you must be thinking So what, Vickie? but I'm telling you, it's a big deal for me. I've always been a purse junkie that's given little-to-no thought to her footwear, so this newfound shoe fascination is both scary (sorry bank account) AND exhilarating... I tell ya, it's like I'm a whole new person. *shrug*

Minty Fresh...

I have two words for you, my friends: Mint. Jeans. Have two more glorious words ever been spoken? Doubtful... I've been crushing on them for ages now, with my Pinterest account only fueling the light green fire in my heart. Now that my hunger for mint jeans has been satiated, however, my mind has become consumed with other candy-coloured pant possibilities... If I get my way, expect to see yellow, coral and red jeans in the months to come! Just don't tell Mr. AiF — He thinks I have a shopping problem... shhhhh

Concrete Jungle...

This weekend was insanely cold, with temperatures well into the negative double digits... Luckily for me, however, this uber-cozy Zara sweater came to the rescue! It's seriously one of the warmest items in my closet, and when paired with a down parka (not pictured here for obvious reasons!), it kept me toasty and warm... Is it spring yet?

Wayfarers and Jumpers...

Well hello! How is everyone today? I'm about to go shopping with my mumsy (fun!), so needless to say I'm pretty excited... But before I do, I'll leave you with some pics taken a couple of days ago while exploring/enjoying the glorious sunshine.

We ventured up Gonzales Hill, which boasts one of Victoria's best views... There's a strange, stark white building there (I think it was a weather station or something), which proved to be a great backdrop for photos... And if you can remember back that far, I've actually taken photos there before!
