My grandparents were rural farmers, so every time I go back to Greece, I love visiting their now unused land. It's just so beautiful and serene, and it reminds me of a childhood spent playing amongst the reeds and corn stalks with my cousins. We always had so much fun picking fruit and pretending that the creek below held magical water nymphs that conspired to capture us...
