{Life Log} Ode to the Little Things...

Life is beautiful, and taking the time to photograph little bits of my day through Instagram has really reminded me of that. Cheesy as it may sound, if it weren't for that little app I wouldn't have nearly as many (oh who am I kidding, I wouldn't have any!) fun memories of daily life. From food and drink, to accessories, activities and the world around me, I'm capturing, and in turn, documenting my life. It's real and it's honest (because let's face it, not every day is an outfit post kind-o-day), and I'm pretty stoked to have so many visual souvenirs.... So here's to all the little things that make life so lovely! xx

Insta-Moments...

What better way to end the week than with pretty pictures, am I right? So with that in mind, I'll leave you with a few of my favourite recent images from Instagram... I hope you like them, and more importantly, I hope you all have a lovely weekend! Muuuuah!

Night Life...

To say that this has been an action-packed week would be a huge understatement, what with meetings, coffee dates, articles and brainstorming sessions taking up much of my time... But fret not, mon petites— it's not all work and no play for this girl! In fact, I was lucky enough to have been invited to a super-fun blogger night at local boutique-extraordinaire Bamboo Ballroom, as well as to the J.Crew launch party at the West Edmonton Mall... So much fun!

So without further ado, here's a look at the festivities as seen through Instagram... First up, Bamboo Ballroom!



The evening consisted of some fab bloggers getting together for some tasty treats, necklace-making with Bang Bang Bijoux, pampering (check out Kassie getting her makeup did!), and of course, shopping! Leopard print jeans, anyone?

Next up was the J.Crew launch party... Bloggers, media peeps and other coolio's congregated to the West Edmonton Mall to celebrate the store's much anticipated opening with hor d'oeuvres, vino and a little shopping. The gents were gifted dapper umbrellas on their way out (a timely gift considering it poured buckets all week), while the ladies recieved adorable leather clutches... Thanks, J.Crew!

Insta-Moments...

Want to know what I've been up to lately? Well this pretty much sums it up, minus the piles of writing assignments which, let's face it, no one wants to see photos of... But other than that, it's been loads of mall trips, coffee stops and painting old necklaces with nail polish for me; not to mention taking waaaay more photos than any living being ever should, devouring pistachio chai lattes every Wednesday morning (so yum!), and growing increasingly obsessed with my cat, Meow-Meow (aka Alexandra McQueen, or the cutest cat ever). What can I say, I lead an fascinating life...
